Hmmm let's see I love Popeyes .. Since I lived in New York I do Better than any chicken spot I like stopping by this store however the people working there are so obnoxious They always have an issue with me asking for more than 2 dipping sauce ..lol like why?? which makes me NOT want to come too this one I drive all the way to rice for the new open one .. And always generous .. Sigh .. I still love Popeyes I can't ever go there without ordering a mash potato to go :)

Wow, I love their fried chicken with a side of fries... Unless they forget to put the fries in the bag. Are you trying to save money by shorting your customers? How disappointing!

Believe it when people say check your order before you leave! First visit, did not get red rice, no big deal we were eating outside and went in and got the rice. Second visit, driving down the street and realize no fries, turn around run in. (Drive through way, way, way to slow) get fries and life is good! Third visit, short line in drive through, get order, amount of boxes and bags look right. Assume all is good and dive 15 minutes to get home. Unpack bag and in container is mashed potatoes, not red rice! Love red rice, do not even like mashed potatoes. Also ordered 9 piece chicken, even asked if all kinds in box as one kid only eats wings. Not to worry we were told....ha ha.....no wings but we recieved 10 pieces of chicken. Nice if that is what we wanted or ordered. Too far to drive back so unhappy dinner for us.

It's no secret that I have some fast food cravings sometimes, and I was delighted when Popeye's opened in St. Paul. I've visited this restaurant a couple of times since it opened, and it definitely scratches the itch. The food quality is good and really consistent. The temperature of food is really good and consistent. I appreciate that Popeyes doesn't skimp on containers and packing materials when it comes to their take-out orders. That said, this particular location does require some special consideration, mostly because the restaurant is squished onto a corner and just doesn't have a lot of space. As a result, you can only pull into the parking lot from University Ave. if you try to pull in from the side street, you're pulling in against traffic and can't make a hairpin turn to get into the drive through line. Also, the drive through is one lane, with no option for those off-to-the-side spots where someone could pull over and wait if their order was going to take extra time. Ergo, you get stuck in the line for as long as it takes if you have folks in front of you with big or complicated orders. This last visit took the cake for me though. We ordered an 8 piece tenders combo. That comes with 8 tenders, 4 biscuits and one large side. I then also ordered an additional large side and an additional small side. Here's what happened: -The guy who took my order was super great, very patient and really nice. -I got to the window and receive a bag containing my chicken and the one large side included with my combo. No extra two sides. -I tell the guy that he owes me a large cajun rice and a small mac & cheese. He goes to get them and I realize there aren't any biscuits either. -He comes back with another bag and hands it through the window. Inside is the small mac & cheese and a box, which I think are the biscuits. I open it, and find french fries! -I inform him that I didn't order french fries; and he owes me biscuits. He asks me if I want to keep the fries. I decline. -He brings me the cajun rice. -He finally brings me the biscuits. -I never got the dipping sauces that should have come with the tenders (that I ordered when I placed my order). And I wound up with 12 tenders and 5 biscuits. WHAT??? On top of everything, the guy took my receipt from me and I neglected to get it back, so I don't have an order number or anything for when I submit this feedback to the company. And since he made similar errors on the orders of the two people in front of me, it took something ridiculous like 50 minutes for me to go round-trip to the restaurant and come home with dinner. I'm willing to chalk it up to a new guy and inexperience, and we will try again. To be fair, my first two visits to this location were a lot less frustrating. It's never fast to go through the Popeyes drive through, but this visit was just ridiculous. Here's hoping things improve.

Red beans and rice is soooo good, mac and cheese is not as good as KFC, didn't eat the fried chicken, my kids did and they are picky eaters so it must of been good, been back twice for just red beans and rice and the wait was not bad at all

Paid $16.99 for 8 piece chicken, 4 biscuits and large side of coleslaw. Food was decent but only had 1 biscuit. Check your order before you leave!
